Terms of Service

These Terms are written in plain English for an ESL lesson-planning web app for teachers in Vietnam. They are not legal advice and are pending review by a Vietnam-qualified lawyer.

1. Who We Are

Plan My Lesson is a web app that helps ESL teachers create lesson plans and teaching materials with AI. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean the operator of Plan My Lesson. "You" means the teacher or user who creates an account or uses the app.

2. Using the App

You may use the app to create ESL lesson content for your own teaching, school planning, and classroom preparation. You agree to:

  • give accurate account information;
  • use the app only for lawful teaching-related purposes;
  • check AI-generated content before using it with students;
  • not upload student personal data;
  • not use the app to create harmful, illegal, discriminatory, or unsafe content.

3. Teacher Accounts

To use the app, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. Please contact us if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. No Student Personal Data

The app is designed for teacher planning, not student data management. You must not enter student names, student emails, phone numbers, photos, addresses, ID numbers, grades linked to names, health information, or other information that identifies a student.

You may enter student age ranges, such as "6-8 years old" or "teenagers", because these do not identify a specific student.

5. AI-Generated Content

The app uses AI to generate lesson plans, worksheets, activities, vocabulary lists, and related teaching content. AI content may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before using it in class.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will meet every school, curriculum, exam, or legal requirement.

6. Free Plan

The free plan includes up to 5 generated lessons per month. We may change the free plan limits, features, or availability in the future. If we make important changes, we will try to give reasonable notice.

7. Paid Plans

Paid plans may be offered later. Paid plan terms, prices, billing periods, cancellation rules, and refund rules will be shown before purchase.

8. Your Content

"Your Content" means lesson prompts, teaching notes, school information, and generated lesson content connected to your account. You keep ownership of the teaching content you create using the app, subject to any rights you already have or rights owned by others.

You give us permission to store and process Your Content so we can provide, maintain, protect, and improve the app.

9. Our Content and App

The app design, software, brand, templates, and systems belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the app.

10. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • try to break, overload, or bypass the app;
  • use another person's account;
  • upload viruses or malicious code;
  • use the app to violate laws or school rules;
  • enter personal data about students;
  • use generated content as professional legal, medical, psychological, or safety advice.

11. Service Changes

We may update, suspend, or stop parts of the app. We may also change features, limits, models, or output formats. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption.

12. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every teaching situation. You are responsible for checking lesson content before using it.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, school disputes, classroom outcomes, or decisions made based on AI-generated content.

14. Ending Use

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or close an account if the user breaks these Terms, creates risk for the app, or uses the app unlawfully.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are intended for a web app serving ESL teachers in Vietnam. The governing law and dispute resolution details will be confirmed upon local legal review.
